A regular yoga practise throughout your pregnancy can help you maintain your health and well being, increase your energy levels when you feel fatigued and help you relax to sleep more soundly. As well as creating more space for your unborn baby, yoga can stretch and strengthen your body to help relieve backache and reduce discomfort in the pelvis to accommodate your growing baby.
Yoga can help you enjoy a more relaxed pregnancy and connect with your unborn baby. It can invite a more harmonious transition into your life, during this time of physical and emotional changes from pregnancy to birth to motherhood.
During the class Claire guides you through gentle yoga postures and movements which are linked with the breath, bringing awareness to the mind, body and spirit.
The classes are suitable after 15 weeks when the pregnancy is well established, until birth.
Women at different stages of their pregnancy attend the classes, which enables the class to share their advice and experiences in a friendly supportive environment.
No previous experience of yoga is necessary.
